Anna Peacock and A-N-D's Klassik Kane won yet another high point award at West 20 this past Sunday. Congrats!!!! And they did it with one shoe on and one shoe off. The past couple weeks have been busy, busy, busy! Moving is so NOT fun. HOWEVER!!!! We've also gone to a couple of shows and a clinic. The Memorial Day show at Triple K went well. Anna Peacock and Kane got reserve champion high point in their age division and Bri and Daisy got a third in open western pleasure!! Good job!!! Then Genna Armstrong and Layla went to the musical freestyle clinic at Hoofer's where they learned a LOT. The next day Anna Peacock and Kane got Grand Champion High Point at the Summer Sizzle Show in Elkhorn. What a great week!!! (Except for the moving). Wed, 05 Jun 2013 14:43:48 +0100

We went to the Little International Horse Show yesterday. Guess who won all the senior classes and the Senior Grand Champion award along with many other 1st and 2nd places? Yup, it was Anna Peacock and A-N-D's Klassik Kane!!!! They rocked the show! That includes Showmanship, English, and Western. What a great day for them! Congratulations Anna and Kane!!!

What a great day! Went to my soon to be new farm, (Pen Bryn Farm LLC), to watch the Sue Kolstad clinic, then to Cheryl's to watch her ride Cooper, (they were very good today), then back here to watch Bri and Genna ride Daisy and Layla. A-N-D Stables is moving!!!
We are so excited to be moving to a beautiful new facility named Pen Bryn Farm LLC. It is a gorgeous facility nestled among large groves of trees and surrounded by farmland just south of Madison on Hwy 138 between Oregon and Stoughton. We will be providing the same high quality board, lessons, and training we always have but in a nicer, newer facility. Pen Bryn Farm has a very nice indoor arena, a beautiful large outdoor arena complete with a judge?s stand, some lovely trails, and many turnout options for our boarders.
We will be moving during the month of May and by June we?ll be all settled in to our new digs. We?ll still be giving lessons in May for those of you who just can?t wait and our ½ leases will still be available also. You?ll still see us at shows, which we will be much closer to now. We?re all very excited.
We have a few horses available for ½ lease, (which means you can ride any time you want), and a couple of stalls and rough board spots available for boarding. As usual we will provide high quality riding lessons for beginners on up to upper level competitors in Dressage, Western, Huntseat, Showmanship, etc. You can take lessons on one of our horses or on your horse. Feeding your horse treats by hand diminishes your leadership in your horse's mind. If you must feed treats - put them in his/her feeder - they know the treats came from you because they can smell you on the treats. (Horses have a VERY good sense of smell). Tue, 02 Apr 2013 20:37:02 +0100

Fighting with your horse is like fighting with the person in your mirror.

Anna Peacock and A-N-D's Klassik Kane won their Western Pleasure class, their English Pleasure class, and their Horsemanship/Equitation class. Oh yeah, they also got a second in their Showmanship class. Way to go Anna and Kane!!!!
